Job summary

United Site Services is hiring an Equipment Specialist to perform routine repair and maintenance on restrooms, sinks, holding tanks and showers. The role includes keeping the yard organized and safe, with duties ranging from cleaning and repairing units to assisting with retrofitting high-end equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate a forklift and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect, wash, repair, paint and store toilets, containers and other materials.
• Operate steam cleaners or pressure washers to clean assets.
• Maintain wash pad area clean and organized.
• Inspect and clean water-recycling system daily.
• Notify supervisor of material use and issues encountered.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and coordinate repairs.
• Inspect and repair units before delivery and after return.
• Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with retrofitting of special or high-end units.
• Follow safety rules and use protective equipment; report hazards.
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading assets.
