Job summary

Direct Marketing Solutions is hiring three Equipment Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Pittsburgh. The role maintains and repairs all mailing and bindery equipment to ensure continuous production flow in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd; 2nd is specifically listed here and 3rd shift as well. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, replacing parts, setting up machines, performing safety checks, and completing scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least two years' relevant experience.
• Ability to perform basic mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aspects.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English in a safety-focused environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift 25–50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with mailing and bindery equipment in coordination with machine operators.
• Replaces parts or performs rebuilding and re-timing of equipment as needed.
• Sets up machines and performs quality procedures for each job.
• Reports safety concerns to the Safety Manager immediately.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on production equipment and communicates machine status to production leaders.

Position Summary:

The Equipment Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs all DMS mailing equipment and machines to ensure a continuous production flow working in a fast-paced environment. We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shift!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with Mailing and Bindery department equipment in coordination with machine operators.
• Replaces parts or performs rebuilding and re-timing of primary and ancillary Mailing and Bindery equipment as needed.
• Sets up all machines and performs quality procedures for each job.
• Reports any safety concerns to the Training & Safety Manager immediately upon discovery.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on DMS production equipment and machines.
• Communicates effectively with Production leaders on machine status and concerns.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by Equipment Maintenance Manager
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with DMS Values and Code of Conduct
• Adhere to all DMS policies and procedures at all times
• Learn and adhere to all Information Technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Complete all required compliance training on time and in good faith

Requirements:

Schedule:

2nd shift - Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm

3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm - 6:30am

Pay: Based on experience
