Kelly Services in Monument, CO is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM). The role offers a pay range of $19.75–$22.00 per hour and a temporary-to-hire path based on attendance and performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on production equipment, with supervision and clear instructions, while building hands-on skills in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, ideally with emphasis in servo positioning or related field.
• Zero to two years of related work experience in electro-mechanical equipment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with hand tools and torque specs.
• Comfort with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email).
• Ability to learn company procedures and maintenance tracking programs.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair feeders, and track maintenance data.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using manuals and drawings.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to check operation.
• Train and coordinate activities of MAs as needed.
• Follow security procedures and safety requirements.
• Work overtime when required and take on other duties.

Equipment Maintenance Technician

Interested in hands-on equipment work and learning how things run behind the scenes in manufacturing? As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep production equipment operating through routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment checks. You’ll work under close supervision with detailed instructions and have opportunities to build your skills.

What you’ll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair feeders, and track maintenance data.
• Help troubleshoot electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using manuals, blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to check equipment operation.
• Show employees how to operate and maintain machinery.
• You may also train and coordinate the activities of MAs.
• Follow company security procedures and safety requirements.
• Work overtime when required and take on other assigned duties.

What you’ll bring

• An associate degree in electronics, ideally with an emphasis in servo positioning theory, or in a related discipline. Relevant experience as an MA may be substituted.
• Zero to two years of related work experience. Experience with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with hand tools, leveling instruments, and torque specifications.
• Understanding of electronic color codes, component value markings, and safe work practices.
• Comfort using a Windows computer, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email.
• Ability to learn company procedures and use maintenance tracking programs.
