Job summary

Accelera in Niagara Falls, NY, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability of power, pump, and HVAC systems through diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs at our facility and at client sites.

You will use tablet-based tooling to track service intervals, document findings, and perform root-cause analysis, while mentoring junior techs and maintaining accurate records for compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude maintaining power generation or HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex technical schematics and calculate equipment load requirements.
• Proficiency in using digital diagnostic platforms and mobile reporting tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leverage digital diagnostic tools and tablet-based software to track service intervals, manage work orders, and document technical findings.
• Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
• Travel to customer job sites to provide on-site technical support and emergency equipment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to configure and test equipment setups for specific project requirements.
• Mentor junior technicians by sharing technical knowledge and best practices for equipment handling.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of all service activities to ensure compliance and inventory precision.
