Job summary

Seaboard Solutions is seeking an equipment technician to maintain and service our rental fleet in Houston, TX. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, PDIs, and timely inspections to ensure rental readiness across earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment.

You will document work with tablets, perform basic repairs, and support safety protocols while coordinating with IT and shop teams. A strong customer focus and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weight and operate shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed on tablet devices, including work orders and parts usage.
• Perform aerial lift inspections and clean equipment and trailers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and pre-delivery inspections to ensure rental readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair on small engines, fuel systems, and other components; change wheels, tracks, and tires.
• Follow safety protocols and operate forklift for loading and movement of equipment.
