Job summary

Ultium Cells is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor for the night shift to lead a medium-sized maintenance team responsible for uptime, safety, and efficiency. You will guide technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, supervising projects, scheduling work orders, and collaborating with production to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Industrial Maintenance Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred
• Understanding of Production and Processing equipment
• 0 to 3 Years Industrial Maintenance Experience preferred
• Direct, coordinate, lead and mentor the activities of team members.
• Plan, establish and assign work schedules, assignments, and work orders to ensure department goals are met.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility equipment.
• Enforce safety and other applicable rules and regulations.
• Document and follow up on SOP’s.
• Maintain related records, logs, and paperwork.
• Ensuring all team members are utilizing time effectively.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Observe work and monitor completion of tasks and work orders.
• Confer with management, peers and others to resolve team member’s problems, complaints, or grievances.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members.
• Coordinate Work Orders, Production, Vendors & Contractors.
• Lead and foster a culture that values innovation, personal ownership and overall Ultium Cells values, through an outcome based approach without compromising safety.
• Strong motivation and a level of urgency in going about daily tasks

This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. Position Description:

Upon hire, employee will receive initial Environmental training over RCRA, SWPPP, SPCC, and emergency escalation. Annual refresher training will be completed every year after to fulfill the requirements of 40 CFR. Other training to be provided as required.

Schedule: 3 on 3 off, Night Shift from 6:30pm to 7am
