Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Middlesex seeks an experienced Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join a technical services team supporting complex manufacturing and test environments. The role focuses on repairs, upgrades, and de-risking of high‑risk equipment within a safety-critical setting.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to address obsolescence, reliability, and process risks, contributing to upgrades and lifecycle planning of advanced equipment including vacuum and RF systems.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
HNC/HND or military engineering qualifications considered with substantial relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs, improvements, and de-risking activities on manufacturing and test equipment.
Support engineering programmes addressing obsolescence, unreliability, and process risk.
Contribute to the upgrade, refurbishment, and replacement of complex equipment including vacuum systems, high-voltage systems, RF systems, scientific furnaces, thin-film coating systems, and control hardware.
Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external contractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
