Overview
Electro-Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on machinery and associated circuits.
- Perform electrical repairs on machinery, circuits, and in facility.
- Use meters and associated electrical equipment to test and repair circuits in facility and machines.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of electrical components, programs, and all associated equipment.
- Read and comprehend electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Install new circuits associated with existing and new installations of machines.
- Shift will vary either 1, 2, or 3 - 8 hrs/day of 12hr shift day and night.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledge of - general body of knowledge in Industrial electrical and mechanical operations; know how things work, have worked on or know how to work on, troubleshoot, general repair recommendations.
- Must have skill and knowledge in these areas but not limited to:
- Know PLC (Programmable Logic Control) and generate troubleshooting.
- Familiar with NEC (Electric Codes).
- HVAC/Refrigeration (A PLUS) - know basic troubleshooting.
- Mechanical hands-on experience (with gearboxes, blowers, bearings, etc.).
- Electrical concepts and how they work - be aware of high voltage (480 Volts) concepts and apply safety work practices.
- Knowledge with pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Basic knowledge of frequency drives.
- Must have general electrical working experience, not necessarily licensed.
- Must have recent experience, within last 4-6 years.
- Must have clean background, NO FELONIES, NO REPEAT MISDEMEANORS.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be willing and able to rotate on all shifts.
