Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH seeks a Patient Equipment Support Associate to manage targeted rounding in active patient areas, recover assets, and ensure safe delivery of infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts and procedural trays.

Responsibilities include cleaning, evaluating, inspecting devices, documenting activity in an electronic database, delivering carts and trays, and possibly stocking supplies.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• None required certifications.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Hospital or logistics experience preferred.

Performs targeted rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution. Cleans, evaluates, inspects, and delivers specified medical devices and equipment, including, but not limited to, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts and procedural trays.

• May be required to orders supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budget

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience

• Hospital experience or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time.
• Ability to travel throughout the Cleveland Clinic health system.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to operate emergency equipment.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
• Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
• Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
• Ability to inspect equipment
• Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures
• Ability to clean, operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products
• Ability to distinguish color.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $15.00

Maximum hourly: $18.44
