Job summary

Granite Construction invites motivated undergraduates to join as an Equipment Systems intern, supporting information systems processes and working with the Equipment Administration group on asset data and application configuration.

The role offers hands-on experience with SharePoint, ERP tools, and converting paper records to electronic formats, in a team-focused, mentor-led environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering or information systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiar with SharePoint, Oracle or SAP ERP, Visual Studio or .NET is a plus.

Responsibilities

General Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting information systems processes for the company’s Equipment systems to ensure consistency with company objectives and policies.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Assisting in the maintenance of the Equipment Department SharePoint site
• Work with the Equipment Administration group to maintain asset master files
• Assist in the configuration of new applications to support field operations
• Research user questions and issues to provide feedback to users
• Convert paper files to electronic format while ensuring compliance with local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Education

• Enrolled in an Engineering or Information Systems Management undergraduate program or a related educational program at an accredited 4 year university

Base Hourly Wage Range

Hourly: $22.00 $30.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
