Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an intern/entry-level team member to maintain and support information systems for the Equipment department. You will help keep the SharePoint site updated, assist in asset master file management, and aid in configuring new applications for field operations.

The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and teamwork while facilitating paper-to-digital conversions compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering or Information Systems Management undergraduate program at an accredited 4 year university
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly
• Team oriented with solid organizational and planning abilities
• Detail oriented with the ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; some experience with SharePoint, Oracle or SAP ERP, Visual Studio, and/or .Net preferred

General Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting information systems processes for the company’s Equipment systems to ensure consistency with company objectives and policies.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Assisting in the maintenance of the Equipment Department SharePoint site

Education

• Enrolled in an Engineering or Information Systems Management undergraduate program or a related educational program at an accredited 4 year university

Base Hourly Wage Range :

Hourly: $22.00 $30.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
