Job summary

Vertiv Equipment Installer II is a field-based role responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments, with regional and occasional national travel. You will follow engineering instructions and drawings while conforming to customer standards, and maintain safety as the top priority, using proper PPE and providing outstanding customer service.

POSITION SUMMARY

An Equipment Installer II is responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position, requiring regional and occasional national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
• On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
• Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills

STANDARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
• Fall protection preferred
• Manlift/Forklift certification preferred
