Job summary

WW Cannon – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Installation Technician to install material handling equipment and related systems across customer sites in the DFW area. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to pass background checks, and a valid driver’s license.

You will read layouts, operate hand/power tools, and ensure safety and quality on every job. We offer practical training, competitive pay based on experience, and clear opportunities for advancement within the installation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction, installation, or mechanical experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check for access to municipal, government, and defense contractor facilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment and random drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety, communication, and customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Entry level or slightly above entry level experience in construction/installation and will be trained to obtain certifications for all equipment we install while working with Foremen to gain more experience and technical skills.

• Safety-sensitive role requiring strict adherence to safety standards
• Combination of indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions
