Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Construction Equipment Operator to join our site team in Cartersville, GA. You will operate a variety of equipment, assist in planning manpower and material needs, and coordinate with subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols in all weather.

Qualifications

3 years Industrial Construction Equipment Operator experience preferred.
Experience managing operator crews and/or subcontractors preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to stoop, bend, sit and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

Responsibilities

Operates various types of construction equipment at a proficient level.
Oversees work of subcontractor.
Assists Superintendent in planning manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements and other planning functions.
May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.
Records all job details and time worked on each piece of equipment on provided tickets.
Performs additional duties assigned by supervisor.
Confers with supervisory personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.
Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
