  • Enter and maintain accurate customer and transaction information across multiple Equipment Finance systems.
  • Prepare and organize transaction information so credit analysts have a complete and accurate package for review.
  • Support preparation activities for large-ticket transactions involving exposure greater than $1 million.
  • Submit financial information for appropriate spreading and credit analysis.
  • Complete KYC activities for large- and small-ticket Equipment Finance transactions.

The Leasing Specialist 3 provides administrative and operational support to the Equipment Finance business line. This role works closely with credit analysts, documentation partners, sales teams, and operations teams to prepare commercial equipment finance transactions for review and processing.

Responsibilities include setting up transactions, confirming required documentation has been received, entering information into Equipment Finance systems, preparing financial information for credit review, and completing Know Your Customer (KYC) activities. The role supports application setup for both large- and small-ticket transactions, provides additional preparation support for large-ticket transactions with exposure greater than $1 million, and completes KYC work across the Equipment Finance business line.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable learning new systems, and able to manage a varied workload in a collaborative environment. The position provides broad exposure to Equipment Finance and opportunities to build knowledge of credit, documentation, operations, compliance, and other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process requests through a shared email mailbox using a first-in, first-out workflow.
  • Set up large- and small-ticket Equipment Finance applications in applicable systems.
  • Review incoming transaction packages to confirm required documents and information have been received.
  • Verify items such as signed applications, customer financial information, and other documentation required based on the transaction.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer and transaction information across multiple Equipment Finance systems.
  • Prepare and organize transaction information so credit analysts have a complete and accurate package for review.
  • Support preparation activities for large-ticket transactions involving exposure greater than $1 million.
  • Submit financial information for appropriate spreading and credit analysis.
  • Complete KYC activities for large- and small-ticket Equipment Finance transactions.
  • Monitor and process work from the KYC system queue.
  • Support a variety of requests, including application setup, credit-line withdrawals, and other transaction-related activities.
  • Identify missing information, documentation gaps, or data discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate partners to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with credit analysts, documentation teams, sales partners, and operations teams to help transactions move efficiently through the process.
  • Handle sensitive customer, financial, and transaction information accurately and responsibly.
  • Follow established procedures, service expectations, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Assist with additional operational activities and projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of experience in leasing or other financial operations activities

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $21.25 - $28.32
