Role Description

The Equipment Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for delivering, installing, and removing rental equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper setup, safe operation, and adherence to company standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and testing equipment before and after use, performing basic troubleshooting and minor repairs, and documenting work performed in a clear and timely manner. The technician will interact directly with clients, explain equipment operation, respond to service requests, and coordinate with the local branch team to support project timelines. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized work environment, following safety procedures, and assisting with inventory and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely with mechanical, electrical, and climate control equipment, including basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Experience with field-based service work, including equipment delivery, setup, and removal at customer locations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills for working with diverse clients and project teams.
• Capability to complete accurate documentation, service reports, and equipment checklists using digital or paper systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in equipment rental, restoration, construction, or related industries is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on project and client needs.
