Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced engineer/PM to support engineering and design for macro modifications and initial telecom builds in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role involves RF datasheet review, mount analysis, and construction drawing reviews, plus coordinating equipment orders and releases with GC vendors.

You will manage GC inventory, oversee equipment receipt and project start, and drive timelines across Router/Baseband/Power Plant/Battery upgrade initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years as an Engineer/PM/Construction Manager or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating 4G/5G tower modification projects.
• RF datasheet review and construction drawing review experience.
• Ordering and inventory management of hardware.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP / macros.
• Ability to manage multiple GC vendors and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for Macro Modifications and Initial Builds, including RF Datasheet review, Mount Analysis and Construction Drawing Review
• Support equipment engineering team with equipment order creation, manage timelines, manage releases, etc.
• Manage GC Inventory and Database.
• Oversee equipment receipt, acceptance, project start
• Manage GC's for Router/Baseband/Power Plant/Battery Upgrades for Modifications
• Coordinate Cabinet builds for Initial Builds from Equipment Procurement, Release, Build with GC's
• Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
