We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Equipment Engineer at our Torrance, California location. This is an ideal role for an adaptable engineer or experienced technical specialist looking to expand their skills in high-voltage systems, test fixture design, and equipment modification—including custom projects like high-potential (hi-pot) safety and testing gear. In this role you will design, modify and build specialized test equipment (STE) used in testing Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs). You will also work closely with our technician repair group to troubleshoot, repair and maintain high-voltage switching power supplies (up to 60KV) and other related test equipment. Responsibilities will include oversight of the design, documentation and fabrication of all Special Test Equipment, work with vendors in the test equipment design process and the operation of that equipment.
