The role emphasizes equipment reliability, uptime, safety, yield, cost reduction, and engineering projects. Responsibilities include providing daily engineering support, analyzing performance and failures, improving maintenance practices, and leading cross-functional initiatives with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience with Equipment Engineering, Reliability, Troubleshooting, and Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment performance, failures, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Improve equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and operating procedures.
  • Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce repair, spare parts, utility, and operating costs.
  • Lead engineering or cross-functional projects, including vendors and contractors.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance.
  • Work in cleanroom and manufacturing environments, including areas with electrical, chemical, and stored-energy hazards.

Acara Solutions is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support manufacturing equipment, maintenance, and process technology. This role focuses on equipment reliability, uptime, safety, yield, cost reduction, and engineering projects.

About the Opportunity:
  • Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment performance, failures, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Improve equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and operating procedures.
  • Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce repair, spare-part, utility, and operating costs.
  • Support equipment-related yield issues and process improvements.
  • Address equipment safety, code, health, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and review energy-control procedures.
  • Develop project proposals, specifications, scopes of work, and funding requests.
  • Lead engineering or cross-functional projects, including vendors and contractors.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and technical performance.
  • Maintain project documentation, maintenance requirements, and spare-parts lists.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers and maintenance personnel.
  • Work in cleanroom and manufacturing environments, including areas with electrical, chemical, and stored-energy hazards.

What You'll Bring:
