Job summary

Insight Global, through a partner, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support installation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment used in solar cell production. This role emphasizes equipment reliability, process efficiency, and high-quality output.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in high-tech manufacturing (solar, semiconductor, PCB, or screen printing) with hands-on experience with vacuum systems, robotics, pneumatics, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of Equipment Engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Experience driving equipment reliability and process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of vacuum systems, robotics, pneumatics, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical and mechanical systems.

Job description

A partner of Insight Global is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment used in solar cell production. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, process efficiency, and high-quality production output. The ideal candidate will bring experience from solar, semiconductor, PCB manufacturing, screen printing, or other high-tech automated manufacturing environments with similar production systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of Equipment Engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Experience driving equipment reliability and process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of: Vacuum systems, Robotics, Pneumatics, Sensors, and PLC-controlled systems
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Mandarin language skills are preferred but not required
