Job summary

AmeriSave is seeking an Equipment Distribution Specialist to join our IT operations team in Atlanta. This role concentrates on distributing hardware, maintaining inventory, and ensuring end users receive properly configured devices.

You will manage Windows 11 devices, Microsoft Office 365 apps, and asset tracking via JIRA, collaborating across groups to resolve issues quickly. Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Solid understanding of IT hardware, including computers, laptops, adapters, and peripherals.
• Detail-oriented with inventory management and timely distribution.
• Desktop hardware and application support.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain hardware in the Microsoft Intune enterprise cloud environment.
• Configuring workstations to ensure proper functioning and connectivity.
• Coordinate and oversee the distribution of IT equipment to end users.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet distribution needs.
• Maintain documentation of distribution activities via JIRA ticketing system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security guidelines during equipment distribution, including data protection measures and asset tracking.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues.
• Identify and elevate situations requiring urgent attention.
