Job summary

Trench Shoring is seeking a dependable general laborer to support equipment delivery and yard operations in California. You will unload and transport equipment, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery routes. Strong communication and reliable time management are essential for success.

The role involves occasional after-hours work and local travel, with training opportunities for crane certification and operation; forklift and welding experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License.
• Crane certification preferred, however if candidate is not certified at the time of employment, company will train for crane certified operations.
• Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures.
• Forklift operation and welding experience is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of our equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow TSC policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
• Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes.
• May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
• Occasional local travel during the workday.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
