Job summary

LGH in Bridgeview, IL is hiring a full-time driver to ensure timely delivery of rental equipment and strict adherence to safety standards. The role includes loading, inspections, and using an iPad for returns.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with occasional overtime. A valid Illinois Class C license, DOT MEC, and background checks are required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial driving experience required.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License Class C or above and be 21+.
• Hair follicle drug screen required; DOT certification upon employment.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly desired; prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Experience with air hoists, come alongs, manual/electric hoists preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport rental equipment safely and on time.
• Load equipment orders and verify all items on each order.
• Process returns using the iPad and inspect equipment condition.
• Report customer issues to Foreman and maintain vehicle condition.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment in the warehouse.
• Prepare rental orders and conduct inspections for quality standards.
