Responsibilities

• Expert level knowledge of mobile dental equipment and how it works.
• Maintain organized inventory and use FreshService for tracking.
• Receive equipment returns, verify functionality, clean, and document.
• Maintain all dental equipment in office and during field use.
• Prepare new hire field team equipment setups per guidelines.
• Package items for shipping; print labels; arrange UPS pickup.
• Assess stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment errors with field teams; coordinate repairs/replacements.
• Coordinate incoming/outgoing package deliveries without external vendors.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Description

This position is essential to the dental care weprovide. The equipment coordinator is responsible for meeting the needs of our field teams byensuringthat the dental fieldteams have the necessary working equipmentand suppliesto provide quality dentalcare our residents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Expert level knowledge with all mobile dental equipment, what it does, and how it works by 60 days of employment and throughout the duration of employment.
2. Ensure equipment is organized and properly inventoried, demonstrating knowledge of FreshService within 60 days
3. Receive equipment returns, ensure it is in working order, clean/sterilize and put away – email manager with confirmation of return
4. Maintenance all dental equipment in office and as it’s returned
5. Prepare new hire field team equipment set‑ups according to guidelines
6. Prepare packages to be shipped, print shipping label, and have boxes ready for UPS pickup
7. Evaluate current stock of equipment and request ordering additional supplies and equipment as needed
8. Troubleshoot equipment errors with field team members, coordinate repairs, order/send replacement parts
9. Coordinate incoming/outgoing package deliveries without shipping vendors
10. Other duties as needed

Requirements

Education & Training Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preference given to Associate’s degree
• Preferred years of experience (3+ years) dental assisting
