Job description

Equipment Cleaning Technician

Location: 7800 Foundation Dr. Florence, KY 41042
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Hourly Pay: $21.97 - $27.53

Responsibilities
  • Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISO’s, including but not limited to vents, valves, clean‑out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedures.
  • Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used in confined space rescue.
  • Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
  • Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all HTC Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Policy and Programs, and Department of Transportation regulations, OSHA and EPA regulations, and applicable state and local environmental regulations.
Education / Experience / Licenses / Certifications

1-2 years relevant experience preferred but not required.

Skills Required
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) chemical information.
  • Ability to operate yard truck to move equipment.
  • Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business‑related software.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Mechanical ability and inclination.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
  • Normal environment is outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 50 to 100 lbs.
  • Confined space entry is required. Must wear proper PPE.
  • Highway Transport operates in a tanker trucking company environment.
