Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support service technicians, sales staff and branch personnel at the Phoenix branch. You will perform manual tasks to ensure smooth operations, including equipment checks, loading/unloading, cleaning, and preparing gear for rental, plus demonstrating equipment to customers and assisting with deliveries.

The role requires safety awareness, strong customer service, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals, compliance and working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare it for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
