Job summary

United Rentals, Reliable Onsite Services division, seeks an Equipment Associate for portable sanitation. You will inspect, wash, repair, and store units to ensure rent-ready quality while maintaining a clean, organized yard and inventory accuracy.

A valid license, safety focus, and ability to lift up to 45 lbs are required. This role supports loading/unloading, minor repairs, and routine checks, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safety-focused with attention to procedures.
• Industry experience is a plus; training provided.
• Able to lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• General facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of units, either manually or with forklift as required.
• Use of drill, rivet tool and other hand tools as needed.
• Ensure supplies are onsite and organized; maintain yard in clean, organized manner.
• Maintain inventory spaces and communicate counts to Dispatch.
• Quality check on all units and equipment prior to loading.
