United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations and assist service technicians, sales staff, and other personnel. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable equipment handling.

Responsibilities include safety checks, loading/unloading gear, preparing equipment for rental, and demonstrating gear to customers, with growth opportunities into driver/service tech programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and ensure it is in good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload equipment, and prepare it for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
