Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate in the Matting Solutions Division to support technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel. You will perform manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation and provide labor assistance as needed.

Excellence in this role can lead to advancement opportunities into our Driver and Service Technician development programs, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, multitasking and teamwork skills are essential.
• Diligent attention to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and proper working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare it for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and operate a delivery truck when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
