Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate at the branch to support service technicians, sales staff and customers. You will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operations and provide labor assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Safety-conscious and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and compliance; ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment; prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment.
• Other duties as needed.
