Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate at our Trench Safety branch. You will assemble, load, unload equipment, assist with deliveries, and prepare gear for rental while performing routine safety checks and supporting customers with equipment needs.

We emphasize safety, dependability, and teamwork. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs are required; forklift experience is preferred. Roles are safety-sensitive with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure safety and good condition.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries about equipment; suggest equipment and supplies to meet needs.

Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance in preparing customer orders and maintaining trench safety equipment.
