Job summary

Terence Cardinal Cooke Health is seeking a part-time Equipment Aide to manage oxygen cylinders and other medical equipment across the facility. You will receive, inventory, track, store, and distribute supplies to ensure uninterrupted patient care in a high-demand setting.

• Prioritize emergent needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• The Equipment Aide is responsible for the receipt, inventory management, tracking, storage, and timely distribution of oxygen cylinders and other designated medical equipment throughout the facility
• Ensuring oxygen supplies are continuously available, particularly for residents requiring respiratory support in high-acuity areas
• The Equipment Aide maintains accurate inventory records, monitors oxygen tank levels, coordinates deliveries and exchanges with oxygen vendors
• Performs routine equipment rounds and responds immediately to urgent requests from clinical staff
• The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize emergent needs in a fast‑paced healthcare environment

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

• G-98 Certification required

Experience:

One (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Experience in central supply, materials management, equipment distribution, or inventory control preferred.

Experience handling medical gas cylinders or durable medical equipment is highly desirable.
