Prescott Animal Hospital Equine Center, part of Mission Pet Health, seeks a Veterinary Assistant to support high-level equine care and a collaborative medical team. You will assist with hands-on care, client communications, and clinic operations in a fast-paced environment in Prescott, AZ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, sometimes stressful environments with composure.
• Confidence in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills (lab, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care as part of the medical team.
• Be the go-to support for the medical team to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Create a positive client experience through scheduling, payments, and communications.
• Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment with proper upkeep.
