Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of equine care procedures and biomedical tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with daily patient care across emergency, outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Support imaging, diagnostics, operating room, laboratory, pathology, and necropsy tasks.
• Provide anesthesia recovery support and dispensary assistance.
• Train veterinary technician students, veterinary students and interns.
• Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend emergency coverage.
