Rock Lane Management, LLC, doing business as B.W. Furlong & Associates, is seeking an ambulatory technician in Oldwick, NJ.

The role supports reproduction veterinarians during farm visits, handling horses, setting up equipment, and preparing patients for procedures. Ideal candidates have horsemanship experience, ability to work with veterinarians, and a passion for world-class care for patients and clients.

Competenze

• Excellent horse-handling skills required, including handling of sedated horses and mares.
• Strong team attitude, willingness to learn and adapt.
• Background in equine medicine or care is preferred.
• Good time management and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Technologically proficient with relevant software and equipment.
• Able to assist with emergency situations and heavy lifting as needed.

Mansioni

• Assist veterinarians with ambulatory and hospital caseload, including breeding work.
• Assist with transvaginal oocyte aspiration and related lab work.
• Stock and manage ambulatory inventory and equipment.
• Manage daily schedule, appointments, and client communications.
• Operate HVMS software to track client history, reports, and invoices.
• Run in-house labs or prepare IDEXX samples for external testing.
• Provide excellent client service and support to the veterinary team.
