Job Title: Equine Office Administrator - Full Time
Location: Export, Import, Sales and Insurance Office (ETA)
Position Summary: provide support to practice, veterinarians, and clients in export, import, sales preparation, and insurance.
Skills/Responsibilities Required
The primary role and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide impeccable customer service internally and externally to clients, veterinarians, and other staff
- Handle incoming fax, email, or phone contact from clients
- Process a variety of completed paperwork or certification such as: clean culture, death, reproduction, health statement letters, proof of vaccinations, and other related items
- Prepare insurance forms.
- Prepare documents for export blood work and distribute to the doctors.
- Process interstate health certificates, two times weekly
- Assist with processing incoming samples and results.
- Assist with distributing incoming reports from Laboratory Partners
- Assist with medical requirements and paperwork for import and export of horses
- Additional projects and duties may be assigned as needed.

- Proficient with the computer; Microsoft programs
- Flexible
- Able to work in fast-paced environment; multi-task and meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task; maintain a fast pace, as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communicator
- Ability to sit for long periods of time

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m, some overtime may be required
Requirements
- Familiar with horse terminology
- Familiar with equine industry
- Able to balance multiple demands while maintaining excellent customer service
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Customer service focus, prior experience is a plus
- Previous veterinary or horse farm experience is a plus
- Equine regulation knowledge is a plus
Pay Range
$17-$20 USD
