Qualifications

  • Three years of equine and farm management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic computer and record keeping skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with faculty coordinator and veterinarian to manage the breeding program including semen collection, processing and shipment, breeding mares.
  • Direct and supervise one full time farm technician position.
  • Hire, train and supervise several part time student employees.
  • Assist faculty with preparation and presentation of various classes and labs.
  • Assist with equine research and extension programming.
