Qualifications

• Direct patient care of horses (feeding, watering, cleaning stalls) and assisting veterinarians.
• Strong communication with team and clients is essential.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment within a multi-doctor equine hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care (feeding, watering, stall cleaning) for equine patients.
• Document feedings and monitor water intake throughout the day.
• Clean troughs, buckets, pans and bed stalls for patient care.
• Maintain inpatient records (location, feedings, admissions, discharges).
• Assist with handling and transport of horses, feed, hay and equipment.
• Perform lawn maintenance to keep practice look tidy.
• Maintain parking areas, arenas, and keep facilities clean.
• Operate farm equipment for movement of hay, feed, and shavings.
