Pay range: $16.90-$18.50

Western Camps, Inc. are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and has a passion for horses. This role involves teaching kids about horse, from care and behavior to riding and safety, in a fun, engaging, and educational way.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience as a Wrangler, Horseback Riding Instructor, Equine Educator, Horse Care Specialist, or Youth Equine Program Leader, with hands‑on experience in horse care, riding, horsemanship, safety, and working with children.

Responsibilities:

• Teach children about horse care, behavior, and safety around horses
• Lead riding lessons or horsemanship activities appropriate to skill level
• Make learning fun and interactive by blending science, care, and riding
• Supervise and support children to ensure a safe and positive environment
• Care for horses and maintain a clean, organized learning space

Qualifications:

• Experience working with horses (riding, care, or instruction)
• Enjoys working with children and teaching in a patient, engaging way
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliability and responsibility around both kids and animals

Bonus Skills (Preffered):

• Previous experience teaching or leading children’s programs
• Knowledge of horse anatomy, behavior, or training method
