Great Parks of Hamilton County in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Barn Attendant to care for horses and livestock at Winton Woods Farm & Equestrian Center. You will feed, water, groom, tack, and manage care for lesson horses, camps, trail rides, badges, and shows, while ensuring guest safety.

This part-time role includes weekend and holiday shifts, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds; prior horse experience preferred and basic animal care duties throughout the farm.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old with some prior experience working with horses.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to the equestrian herd and livestock at the farm.
• Feed, water, turn out, groom, tack and perform other tasks for horses used in lessons, camps, trail rides, badge programs & horse shows.
• Care for all other program livestock and observe animals for health issues.
• Keep barns, crossties and arenas clean and maintain equipment.
• Assist guests with riding procedures and ensure visitor safety.
• Work weekends and holidays.
