Job summary

Export-Import Bank of the United States seeks a GS-15-level specialist to lead equal employment opportunity and civil rights compliance initiatives. The role requires serving as the principal technical authority on EEO policy and directing the execution and evaluation of the EEO program to meet federal mandates and agency priorities.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14 in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay system.
  • Experience as principal and chief technical authority on equal employment opportunity, civil rights compliance, affirmative employment, and equity-related policies.
  • Experience directing and designing the execution and evaluation of an EEO Program ensuring compliance with Federal mandates and agency priorities.
  • Experience overseeing the processing, investigation, and resolution of high-risk or highly complex discrimination complaints, including negotiating settlement agreements.
  • Experience collaborating with managers, senior leaders and other agency staff for change management activities, awareness campaigns and special observances; AND experience serving as technical expert in drafting and approving Accept/Dismiss packets, Investigations and Final Agency Decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and coordinating EEO program activities to ensure compliance with federal mandates and agency priorities.
  • Directing and evaluating the execution of equity-related policies and discrimination complaint resolution.
  • Collaborating with managers and senior leaders for change management initiatives and awareness campaigns.
  • Drafting and approving Accept/Dismiss packets, investigations, and Final Agency Decisions as a technical expert.

About this agency

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:

  • Experience serving as principal and chief technical authority on equal employment opportunity, civil rights compliance, affirmative employment, and equity-related policies;
  • Experience directing and designing the execution and evaluation of an EEO Program ensuring compliance with Federal mandates and agency strategic priorities;
  • Experience overseeing the processing, investigation, and resolution of high-risk or highly complex discrimination complaints; including negotiating settlement agreements of complaints and mediating high-stakes or sensitive disputes;
  • Experience collaborating with managers, senior leaders and other agency staff for change management activities, awareness campaigns and special observances; AND Experience serving as technical expert in drafting and approving Accept/Dismiss packets, Investigations and Final Agency Decisions Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-15 grade level.
