Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on automation engineer who will integrate, execute, and troubleshoot DPPM tests for AMD Enterprise products. You will work with DPPM Debug leads and program managers to improve testing efficiency while supporting data center scale.
The role requires a BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, 2+ years in automation and testing, and strong scripting in Python and Shell.

This position requires a hands-on technical engineer who specializes in the integration, execution, and preliminary troubleshooting of tests for AMD Enterprise products, focusing on DPPM calculation. You will work closely with DPPM Debug leads and Program managers to consistently improve testing efficiency over time.
The candidate must possess a BS or MSEE degree and have over 2 years of relevant work experience in automation and testing environments. The individual must be proficient in shell and Python programming and have a solid understanding of first-level debug in x86 SOC and computer/system platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Electronics / Computer Science related 2+ years of experience in Test Automation/validation development and test execution and debug.
