Overview

The Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) Americas is an innovative technology service provider for global players in the materials management sector. Through our scalable platform solutions, we overcome challenges in consumer goods and material take-backs worldwide and connect all stakeholders within the reverse logistics value chain. Our goal is to generate the greatest possible value from recyclable goods by optimizing take-back processes. We work with manufacturers, retailers and government organizations in over 80 countries, enabling smooth circular material flows and maximizing resource efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, developing, and executing a comprehensive PRO Support Services (PSS) business development strategy in coordination with the PSS, marketing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure annual company growth goals are met.
  • Establish and cultivate strategic relationships among stakeholders to grow initiatives specifically related to EPR programs. This will include networking in person and online, prospecting, giving presentations to trade associations, advocacy groups, larger cities and or regulatory agencies.
  • Educate and guide prospective and new stakeholders on policies, rules, contractual obligations, and regulatory prerequisites through presentations, webinars and direct engagement.
  • Efficiently handle all day-to-day aspects of stakeholder support, including promptly addressing inquiries and issues: provide guidance regarding requirements for compliance and use of online program tools.
  • Plan, organize, and/or manage projects on an ad hoc basis related to current and future EPR development opportunities and operational support.
  • Collaborate and participate with the larger PSS team to advance RLG America’s business model in other jurisdictions, assist with crafting RFP responses, develop policies/procedures, and plan industry events etc., as required.
Qualifications
  • College graduate with a minimum of two years' experience in a business development, stakeholder engagement, or EPR role (with emphasis on recycling or sustainability).
  • Knowledge of EPR regulations, compliance standards, and best practices or demonstrated excellent inter-personal skills with a willingness to learn how EPR programs operate to ensure producer and or customer regulatory obligations are met.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse team to support the RLG business model of reliable, transparent partnership that advances the circular economy.
  • Willing to travel for in-person meetings with stakeholders involved in various projects within the PSS portfolio.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented. Strategic problem-solver with excellent presentation, writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Good organization and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to build pipelines for foster program engagement and outreach and cultivate and maintain lasting stakeholder relationships.
