Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a technically strong, hands-on EPMS specialist to install, configure, and commission EPMS software and field devices at customer sites. You will configure networked devices, alarms, and monitoring points, and troubleshoot communications between software and electrical devices.

Understanding of IP networking and device communication is required, with experience in SCADA/BAS/BMS, industrial automation, and related protocols a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on computer and software skills.
• Experience connecting, configuring, or troubleshooting networked field devices.
• Understanding of IP networking and device communication.
• Experience with Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, or similar protocols is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and power fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and project stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot EPMS software and connected field devices.
• Configure networked devices, communications, alarms, monitoring points, and system settings.
• Troubleshoot communication between software and electrical devices.
• Work with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and project teams at data center construction sites and operational data centers.
• Support system startup, testing, documentation, and customer training.
• Travel regularly to customer sites, with overnight travel up to 75%.
