Billings Clinic in Billings, MT is hiring an ePMO IT Business Analyst to join the PMO/Operations team. You will gather and document business requirements, create user stories and designs, and develop system documentation and training.

The role supports project management across the portfolio, interfaces with external consultants, and contributes to continuous process improvement while upholding the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of project management or business analytics experience required.
• One year of experience with Electronic Health Systems (EHS) required.
• Experience with SharePoint, Visio and Project preferred.
• Business Analyst or Project Management Professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assessments to business areas.
• Supports oversight of technology projects within budget, scope and timelines.
• Develops processes, procedures, and documentation for Information Services projects.
• Performs business analyst functions: developing user needs, gathering requirements, creating workflows.

ePMO IT Business Analyst

PMO / OPERATIONS - 100.8732 (27th Streeth 2nd Floor Corner Window Room 4th Floor Classroom)

Shift: Day
Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE:$33.66 - $42.07

Works with the project manager and portfolio owners in the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) to perform business analysis functions, including gathering and documenting business requirements and user stories and developing user mockups and designs. Develops and implements system documentation and system training for staff. Supports the organization in fulfilling its mission, vision, and values.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides technical assessments to business areas.
• Provides insight on projects from business case development through design, build, quality assurance, and transition to a project manager.
• Explains policies and procedures and establishes effective working relationships among project team members, internal Information Services staff, and business functional areas.
• Assists with oversight of technology projects within project budget, scope, and timelines while adhering to business and technical requirements. Supports the quality of technical solutions through data analysis.
• Works within the ePMO structure to identify and analyze complex business problems and determine Information Services solutions against a prioritized project portfolio. Communicates effectively and timely with stakeholders and assigned leadership regarding project status, accomplishments, tasks, issues, and risks.
• Acts as the primary liaison with external consultants and service providers, as needed, within the context of a project and in accordance with department procedures.
• Develops processes, procedures, and documentation used by staff for information and technology developed within Information Services projects.
• Provides feedback and insight on ePMO methodology to support continuous improvement and ensure processes, procedures, and structure remain effective.
• Works with portfolio owners to perform business analyst functions, including developing user needs, gathering requirements, and creating workflow diagrams.
• Provides project management services to business stakeholders for project needs that do not involve Information Technology.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing projects or performing business analytics functions required.
• 1 Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Electronic Health Systems (EHS) required.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project, preferred.
• Experience leading interdepartmental projects, thinking innovatively, leading technical solution meetings, and ensuring proper implementation, preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Business Analyst or Project Management Professional

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
