Job summary

Interstates is seeking an EPLAN Developer to advance content, tools, and technologies that improve control panel design and manufacturing. You will focus on EPLAN initiatives while maintaining a connection to daily project work.

Experience required includes 3–5 years of drafting and 3+ years using EPLAN, with an associate or 4-year degree. Travel up to 15% is expected. Interstates offers a collaborative, family-like culture with strong benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two-year college or technical college, or completion of a 4-year degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of drafting experience.
• 3+ years of experience using EPLAN. Equivalents may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Research and development of the EPLAN software and new technologies with integration to Interstates systems.
• Interpret data from the model to drive efficiency in design and planning.
• Maintain and update EPLAN standards and SOPs with design teams.
• Train the team in new standards and procedures.
• Network with industry leaders to propose new techniques and tools.
• Track development priorities and accomplishments.
• Collaborate with IT on storage management, hardware, and software requirements.
• Assist the EPLAN team in developing examples of Interstates EPLAN capabilities.
• Stay current on deliverable standards and best practices.
