Interstates is seeking an EPLAN Developer to design new content, tools, and technologies that improve efficiency in control panel design and manufacturing. The role focuses on advancing EPLAN initiatives while keeping a link to daily project work.
The candidate will research EPLAN software and integrate with Interstates systems, maintain standards, train staff, and stay current with industry trends. Travel up to 15% is expected; compensation depends on experience and education.
The EPLAN Developer is responsible for developing new content, tools, and technologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of control panel design and manufacturing. This role will spend most of the time advancing EPLAN initiatives and emerging technologies, while maintaining a small connection to day‑to‑day project work.
Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two‑year community college or technical college, or completion of a 4‑year degree program in a related field. 3‑5 years of drafting experience. 3 or more years of experience using EPLAN. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Generally, travel should not exceed 15% of your time.

The pay range for this position is $70,040 to $87,550 plus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
