Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. is seeking an EPJ Operator to operate pallet jacks and related equipment, loading, unloading, and staging merchandise across daily operations in Garland, TX.

You will support receiving,put-away, order picking, and shipment preparation while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience with powered industrial vehicles, and completion of Barrett's PPE vehicle training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Completion of Barrett's training and certification program for Powered Industrial Vehicles.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and reading safety documents.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA/GHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using electric pallet jack and motorized equipment.
• Operate forklift and related machinery to move and stage inventory.
• Assist shipping/receiving and unload inbound merchandise.
• Perform put-away, picking, and loading per procedures.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality issues.
• Complete shift equipment inspections before start.
