Job summary

Armada LTD is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver CMS instruction for SOF Fundamentals at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC. You will calibrate training and ensure instructional accuracy while enforcing range safety and weapon zeroing protocols.

Qualified candidates have 8 years of military experience, current MARSOC qualifications, and CQB instructor credentials. Relocation not offered. Apply through our careers page.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of military experience with 5+ years in Special Operations/USMC Force Recon.
  • Must pass current MARSOC weapons qualifications.
  • CQB tactics with instructor experience at a SOF CQB course.
  • Graduate of SOFCQB course.
  • Must be certified Range Safety Officer & Laser Range Safety Officer.
  • FSIC certification or equivalent required.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver CMS instruction for SOF Fundamentals and calibrations.
  • Maintain and enforce range safety procedures, ensuring POI alignment and weapons zeroing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC

Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance

CONTINGENT UPON AWARD
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver CMS instruction for SOF Fundamentals, supporting training calibrations and iterations to ensure instructional accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enforce range safety procedures, ensuring proper POI alignment and weapons zeroing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Ability to pass current MARSOC weapons qualifications
  • Ability to carry 50 lbs. and wear organizational Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended durations of time throughout training days.
  • Knowledge of Deliberate and TimeCritical Risk Management principles, with the ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement effective controls in highrisk training and operational environments.
  • Skill in developing and executing safe, realistic schemes of maneuver in support of training objectives, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and safety standards.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support training operations, range activities, and safety compliance.
  • Knowledge of shoot house safety techniques, with the ability to apply safety protocols during livefire, forceonforce, and simulated training evolutions.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Orders and unitlevel SOPs related to range safety, with the ability to apply regulatory guidance to training and livefire operations.
  • Skill in classroom and range instruction methods, including the ability to effectively instruct, evaluate, and mentor personnel in both academic and practical training environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Minimum/General Experience
  • 8 years' military experience with a minimum of 5 years Special Operations and/or USMC Force Recon Organization
  • Must be capable of passing current MARSOC weapons qualifications
  • Must possess current (within the past three years) proficiency in Close Quarters Battle (CQB) tactics, techniques, and procedures, with instructor experience at a Special Operations CQB course.
Required Certifications
  • Must be a graduate of Special Operations Forces - Close Quarters Battle (SOFCQB) course
  • Must be certified as Range Safety Officer & Laser Range Safety Officer
  • Must possess a Formal School Instructor Course (FSIC) certification, or equivalent
Minimum Education
  • HS Diploma, or equivalent
