Job summary

Inova Neurology seeks a dedicated Epileptologist (MD/DO) to join our team in Virginia. This role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with opportunities for leadership and a supportive, patient-centered practice.

You will provide comprehensive neurology care, perform evaluations, coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams, participate in research, and contribute to education for trainees and staff. Board-certified or eligible in Neurology with epilepsy fellowship is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completed neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship.
• Board eligible or board certified in Neurology.
• Current Virginia medical license.
• BLS certification upon start.
• CMS credentialing ability and enrollment.
• Medical staff credentialing for privileges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients.
• Order medications and diagnostic procedures; coordinate services.
• Develop programs for preventive health and professional outreach.
• Participate in clinical research projects and studies.
• Join multidisciplinary team activities and case conferences.
• Provide in-service education to trainees and staff.
• Maintain consultative relationships with care teams.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
